Most growing practices and small businesses are stretched thin by the work that piles up behind the scenes. The core work gets done, but scheduling, intake, billing, documentation, coordination, and administrative follow-up stack up on people who are already at capacity. Hiring help domestically is expensive, and hiring offshore on your own is a gamble on strangers.
Ataraxis was built to close that gap. We place pre-vetted offshore talent with US companies and manage the relationship end to end, so our customers get dedicated, long-term team members without the cost, the churn, or the guesswork of doing it alone. We are not a temp agency and not a marketplace. We build permanent teams for owners who are thinking long term, across healthcare, professional services, real estate, and small business.
Before co-founding Ataraxis, Ashleigh spent years doing the frontline administrative and operational work that our customers need help with, the scheduling, intake, coordination, documentation, and follow-up that keep an organization running.
She handled it across a range of demanding environments. In medical practices, she managed scheduling, patient intake, insurance updates, records, and administrative authorizations under strict compliance requirements. In a therapy setting, she balanced hands-on work with children with the administrative load of intake, scheduling, and coordination for multiple practitioners. At a home health nursing company, she ran complex scheduling, matching people to assignments by skill, availability, and location, and performed quality assurance on documentation to catch errors and audit risks before they became problems.
The through-line is that Ashleigh has sat in the seat our virtual assistants fill. When we vet talent for administrative and operational roles, we are screening for the things that actually matter day to day, because one of our founders has done that work herself. Her experience shapes how we evaluate talent, how we prepare people for the realities of a busy operation, and why our placements hold up under the pressures that break less careful hires. That depth is strongest in healthcare, where she worked directly, but the judgment it built applies to every role we place.
George built the company from the ground up and runs its day-to-day operations, managing a team across four countries and overseeing every part of how Ataraxis sources, vets, places, and supports talent.
His focus is on building a staffing model that customers can actually rely on: rigorous vetting, real management, and long-term retention rather than the revolving door that defines much of the offshore staffing market. Under his leadership, Ataraxis developed the screening process that sets it apart, including the checks that filter out the two things that undermine most offshore hires, people who leave within months and people who oversell their skills.
We vet harder than the market. Most of the people who apply never make it through our process, because we screen specifically for reliability and honesty, not just skills on paper. Our founders’ firsthand experience in the work means we know what separates a virtual assistant who prevents problems from one who creates them.
We manage the relationship, so you don’t have to. Payroll, compliance, timekeeping, and continuity are handled. If something changes on a team member’s end, we keep you covered.
We build for the long term. Our customers are owners building permanent teams, and our model is designed around retention, not transactions.
